Eric A. Zarko is a Principal Software Engineer and Architect who has been writing code since the Clinton administration — back when the internet was mostly blinking text and hit counters. He currently serves as Staff Java Platform Architect at Clover and runs Zarko Consulting LLC, where he helps clients build new systems, rescue old ones, and occasionally confront legacy code he probably wrote himself.
If you have a project that needs designing, a codebase that needs an adult in the room, or a system that’s held together with duct tape and good intentions, he’s available for consulting. He is also probably planning on replacing you with AI at some point — but until then, he’s happy to work alongside you.
Details on skills and experience can be found on his resume or on LinkedIn.
